Lucas Dane Sherman
Lucas Dane Sherman is the Executive Director of The Other Six. He is currently a senior at Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences. Lucas lost his mom and a close friend to suicide at the age of 12 and he was absolutely heartbroken. One day while on the bus with Taylor-Corrine, they decided that they were tired of the constant problem of mental health and suicide in Washington. The two decided to found The Other Six in the hopes of finding new ways to help those affected by suicide. When not working on The Other Six you can find him studying, playing lacrosse, building robots, participating on student government, or rocking out with friends.
Sophie Nohle is the Vice President and Community Outreach Director of The Other Six. Sophie is a sophomore, who is currently attending Eastlake High School. Outside of working on The Other Six, Sophie enjoys attending concerts, listening to country music, (especially Tim McGraw), playing volleyball, photography, playing with animals, dirt biking/four wheeling, and spending time with family and friends.

Aki Eisenman-Shoda is the president of The Other Six Board and a senior at Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences. She became passionate to do more than just understand the issue of suicide after experiencing its impact on her closest communities. She reached out to Lucas Sherman, Executive Director of The Other Six, hoping to join their team. She is passionate about The Other Six because, although many organizations focus on suicide prevention, there are very few that focus on those impacted by the death. When she is not working with The Other Six or studying at SAAS, she is rock climbing, spending time outside, or simply spending time with friends.

She, too, is one of "the other Six" and has faced the grief of losing loved ones to death by suicide. As a Mom and Community Volunteer, it is her passion to "lead with love" and lean in to help teens in need and work to find healing in the wake of these terrible tragedies. She yearns to see communities brought together to use these difficulties to grow and work together. In her spare time, she is chauffeuring children, cheering for her kid's sports, travelling the globe, likely planning another party or upcoming event, a student of the grape and enjoys working part-time in the Washington wine industry. She is happiest when at home - juggling her many hobbies and spending time with her family and friends and her beloved dog, Millicent.
